Bringing a rust and dent free diamond in the rough from North Carolina back to life. One of 105 CI’s and 847 total of the 850 series (5.0 v12) cars equipped with a manual. Wheel bearing, clutch hydraulics (master, line, slave) required the exhaust to be dropped, coated brake rotors and pads all around, valve cover gaskets, NGK plugs, oil filter and 7 quarts of synthetic, air filters and cabin filters. My 73 year old dad spent a full day refinishing the intake manifolds as they had a bit of corrosion. We’ll take it up to 155 to make sure all is well, then bring it back in the bay for charging system check for amp draw from the different circuits and following diagnostics as needed. Will be putting it away for the winter and begin with cosmetics in the spring.

Very Very cool!! I wish I had the time and space to do this with my 928. Can’t wait to hear more about it. V12 Bimmers are magic.

Thank you. I think so. To watch $2500 float out the window (at cost) isn’t easy.

$10-15k (once you’re done) for a car like that brought back to great condition is pretty awesome.
